Zoology

The study of animal structure, physiology, development, and categorization is included in zoology which is a discipline of biology that deals with animals and animal life. It encompasses research into individual animals and their constituent parts, down to the molecular level, as well as research into animal populations, entire faunas, and animal-to-animal, plant-to-plant, and non-living-environment connections. A zoologist is a scientist who specializes in the study of animals. Aristotle is considered to be the father of zoology. The scientific study of the evolution, anatomy, physiology, behaviour, habitats, and health of animals and humans has a tremendous impact on our planet. It encompasses a wide range of techniques, including electron microscopy, molecular genetics, and field ecology.
