The Lives of Animals

Presentations | English

"zoology is a discipline of biology that investigates animal kingdom members and animal life in general. It encompasses research into individual animals and their constituent parts, down to the molecular level, as well as research into animal populations, entire faunas, and animal-to-animal, plant-to-plant, and nonliving-environment connections. Despite the fact that this wide variety of studies leads to some specialization within zoology, the conceptual integration in the modern study of living things that has happened in recent years emphasizes the structural and functional unity of living things. Fauna refers to all of the animal life found in a given area or period of time. Faunistics is the study of animals from a specific area. Any system capable of executing processes including feeding, metabolising, excreting, breathing, moving, growing, reproducing, and responding to external stimuli is characterized as living. There are a variety of species, including amphibians, reptiles, mammals, insects, and birds, with a large population. Animals are not only neighbours, but also vital components of our ecology. Many of these animals, however, are threatened with extinction as a result of human activity. Many species have been raised for conservation by environmentalists and international groups such as PETA and WWF."
