Algorithms are simply a set of instructions made for performing a given function for a computer system. Recursive algorithm, Brute force algorithm, backtracking algorithm are some of the major types of algorithms in use. Certain algorithms are used in GPS tracking, social media connection network, hospitals and search engines. Computer science is predominantly the study of the vast arena of computer and its technology. Besides being an electronic machine, computer has the capability to perform arithmetic and logical functions.
