Chittor District is the southernomst district in Andhra Pradesh. It is the house of the famous temple town of Tirupathi & Tirumala. Apart from the world-famous Tirupathi Venkateswara Swamy temple, this district can also boast of having the Kanipakam Vinayaka temple, a very anceint Srikalahasthi Shiva temple and scores of other temples like the Padmavathi Temple, the Govindarajaswami temple, Srinivasamangapuram and so on.
