Medical Biotechnology

Red biotechnology is the field of developing pharmaceuticals including vaccines. Medical biotechnology is a branch which has immense scope in today’s world. With the increasing contagious diseases, the world of biotechnology is successful in producing effective vaccines against these pathogens. They not only cure, but also prevent such infectious diseases. Animals have an important role in developing new vaccines. The most common animals used for vaccine safety testing are pigs, monkeys, rats and so on. These animals can be used as genetically engineered animals for their use in agriculture or pharmaceuticals.
