Archaeological Excavations are a process of recording and recovering buried materials. It is generally called a surgical aspect of excavations as skilled craftsmanship does surgery on buried materials. Based on this point of view excavation can be classified as accidental, rescue, and planned. Excavation items that are generally found are tools, metals, seals, buried bones of humans & animals, weapons, cots, pots, and ornaments.
