To ensure road safety, the Swedish National Society launched a gamified app called The Speed Camera Lottery. The motive of the app was to motivate drivers to obey the traffic rules and speed limits. The system recorded each vehicle's speed and displayed the same to the drivers. If anyone crosses the limit they would be photographed and issued a citation. And also would be asked to pay a fine. Drivers who obeyed the speed law would be eligible to win money from the speeders. With the implementation of the SpeedCam Lottery, drivers received motivations from potential cash incentives, lottery anticipation, encouraging reinforcement, and public pressure.
