Gamification is becoming more popular in general, and it's being used more and more in HR initiatives to make the mundane work of HR more enjoyable and efficient. Gamification in HR refers to the application of game-based behavior-motivation techniques to non-game situations. With a growing number of tech-savvy millennials and Gen Zers entering the workforce and tougher competition than ever for top talent, gamifying HR activities can give employers the engagement edge they need. From our vantage point, if there's a way to get employees to care about HR-related activities, we say go for it. There are numerous opportunities to automate and gamify traditional HR processes, ranging from recruitment and onboarding to training and development to health and wellness.
