Microsoft requires a huge language localization needs for its various products. To ensure the translations are accurate, they designed a gamified program called 'Language Quality'. It is a silver light application that allows users to check language accuracy. To gain attention and to enhance the quality of the work done by the employees, Microsoft intentionally included poor translations. This game not only added a fun element but also promoted civic engagement by giving chance to everyone to make Windows a better product.
