To increase the customer engagement on the website, Verizon partnered with Gigya and digital agency Modal to launch a gamified technique called Verizon Insider. This technology helped the users to score points and rewards for playing contests, posting comments, and also for promoting events. Consumers can upload selfies or group photos on social media while participating in a Verizon-sponsored concert. Through this gamified technique, the company experienced a hike of 15% in page views.
