The impression created by a film is permanent. Film and visual communication deals with a technique which uses diverse information and designs for both print and screen based media, also from print like newspapers, magazines, books and tickets to the screen like web interfaces, film titles to right through to environmental applications. It is one of the most beautiful wonders of science. Visual communication helps the audience understand the information through a visual treat. It is more flexible than verbal communication. It increases the comprehension of the subject matter. Types of two-dimensional images which aid communication include drawings, pie charts, animation, signs, typography, graphic designs among many others. Visual aids can deliver information more directly. It is more attention grabbing and engaging. Research has been able to establish that visual communication makes an impact on the audience, so does films.
