A simple term, means dedication of yourself to do an activity. It can be also described as a promise to do an act. This term can be explained as, giving your best, going into an extra mile and not leaving out of the situation. It’s the basic unit of honesty. Someone who is committed to life, will earn trust and respect from people around him/her. Organizational-commitment can be explained as a person's attachment to the work they do or to the firm they work. According to three-component model, three distinct components help in achieving organizational achievement: affective is emotional attaching to the company, continuance is attachment due to prolonged period of working in the same firm and normative is having a feeling that the right thing to is staying in the organization.
