UGC NET Women Studies

The syllabus of the UGC NET Women’s Studies Exam includes Introduction to Women’s Studies, Feminist thinkers and theories, Gender and Education, Women, Work and Employment, Gender and Entrepreneurship, Women and Health, Women Empowerment and Development, Women Law and Governance and related topics. Exam is conducted in two papers – Paper 1 & 2. Paper 1 is common for all subjects and consists of questions from Research, Teaching & General Aptitude. On the other hand, Paper 2 will consist of The UGC Women Studies subject which will have 100 questions of 2 marks each and the total duration will be two hours.
