Architects are solely responsible for preparing designs for new buildings and renovating the existing ones. They must also provide advice on how to conserve old buildings. To implement the design the architects mainly use four tools namely drawing, cutting, measuring, and computer software. Besides these four essential tools, to carry out the planning and calculation of the building plans they rely on various other tools such as mechanical pen, electric eraser, measuring tape, drafting tape, drawing board, and so on.
