Industrial biotechnology deals with the advancements using enzymes, microorganisms and chemicals for industrial use. The main objective for the use of industrial biotechnology is to increase the efficiency and energy of industrial products like paper, chemicals, detergents, biofuels and so on. Biotechnology is the area of research and study of living organisms and their products. It has significant use in our day to day life. Bioweapons, which are used to cause diseases and toxins are also included in this field. Biotechnology gave rise to use of microorganisms in milk and milk products. Red biotechnology is the field of developing pharmaceuticals including vaccines. Pharmaceutical is an important field where biotechnology showed it’s efficiency. Green biotechnology is used for the research in agricultural products. Industrial biotechnology is also represented as white biotechnology. Marine or blue biotechnology is used for marine purposes.
