An emblem is simply a pattern or a work used to represent a person or an idea or a group. Just like how a police officer wears his badge representing their department, an emblem can be wore as an identifying badge. These can be attached to the idea of heritage and culture too. Whereas symbol represents something that is invisible through a visible convention. Emblem provides an opportunity for individuals to communicate in a non verbal way, it can be used to convey messages too. They have specific meanings attached to them. It directly or indirectly are subject to their society and culture.
