Before the advent of televisions, zoos were the only places that offered us a chance to see wild animals, while in the comfort of a safe urban place. Another safe place to see some of our exotic wildlife in their natural habitats are reserved forests that offer government-approved rides into jungles. There are many such zoos and wildlife reserves in the state of Telangana. This presentation lists such places like the Nehru Zoological Park at Hyderabad, the Kakatiya Zoo at Warangal, the Kavval, Pranahitha and Chincholi Wildlife Sanctuaries and the Nagarjun-Srisailam Tiger Reserve. The presentation and also offers information about uniqueness of these places, how animals here are taken care of, the kind of foods offered to them in the zoos and other such interesting information.
