"Women empowerment refers to making women powerful to make them capable of deciding for themselves. As the times evolved, women realised their power. There on began the revolution for women empowerment. It is the immediate need of the hour and is integral for the development of any society. There is an increased number of crimes and violation of rights against women and it should be tackled. For this the educational, social, economical, political and financial status of women should be improved. Special focus must also be given to improve the physical, mental, intellectual, and nutritional status of women. The individuals and government must both come together to make it happen. Women must be given equal opportunities in every field, irrespective of gender. Most importantly, the shame of divorce and abuse must be thrown out of the window. Parents must teach their daughters that it is okay to come home divorced rather than staying in any abusive relationship."
