Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 20 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Kerala state in southern India. It comprises 7 legislative assembly constituencies. Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency is composed of the following assembly segments: Thrissur, Ollur, puthukad, Manalur, Guruvayur, Nattika, Irinjalakuda. According to Election Commission, there was a turnout of 10,42,122 registered voters in Thrissur Constituency for the 2019 Lok Sabha Election. The constituency recorded a polling percentage of 77.94% of the total electorate. The winner of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections was T N Prathapan of the Indian National Congress who polled 4,15,089 votes which constituted 39.8% of the vote share (an upswing of +1.68% from the 2014 election) which put the winning margin at a comfortable 93,633 votes over the CPI(M) candidateRajaji Mathew THomas who came in second . As of 2021 T N Prathapan is still the incumbent MLA from Thrissur.
