Kollam Lok Sabha constituency is composed of the following assembly segments: Chavara, Punalur, Chadayamangalam, Kundra, Kollam, Eravipuram, and Chaathanoor. According to Election Commission, there are 12,59,400(Women-6,59,597, Men-5,99,797, Transgenders-6) registered voters in Kollam Constituency for the 2019 Lok Sabha Election. Kollam Constituency was polled 74.36% of the total electorate. Kollam Assembly Constituency includes 19 wards of Kollam City Corporation (Kureepuzha West, Kureepuzha, Neeravil, Anchalumoodu, Kadavoor, Mathilil, Trevally, Vadakkumbhagam, Uliyakovil East, Kadappakada, Koickal, Kallumthazham, Mundakkal, Pattathanam, Cantonment, Udayamarthandapuram, Thamarakkulam, Pallithottam, Port Kollam) along with the neighboring panchayaths of Pranayam and Thrikkaruva, as per the recent changes on assembly constituency delimitations. Kollam Assembly Constituency is a legislative assembly constituency in the South Indian state of Kerala. It is one of the 11 assembly constituencies in the Kollam district. As of the 2021 assembly elections, the current MLA is Mukesh of CPI(M).
