Idukki Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 20 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Kerala state in southern India. It comprises 7 legislative assembly constituencies. Idukki Lok Sabha constituency is composed of the following assembly segments: Muvattupuzha, Kothamangalam, Devikulam, Udumbanchola, Thodupuzha, Idukki, Peerumade. According to Election Commission, there was a turnout of 9,19,559 registered voters in Idukki Constituency for the 2019 Lok Sabha Election. The constituency recorded a polling percentage of 76.36% of the total electorate. The winner of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections was Dean Kuriakose of the Indian National Congress who polled 4,98,493 votes which constituted 54.21% of the vote share (an upswing of an astounding +13.68% from the 2014 election) which put the winning margin at a very comfortable 171,053 votes over the CPI(M) candidate Joice George who came in second . As of 2021 Dean Kuriakose is still the incumbent MLA from Idukki.
