What does Waste Management actually mean? It can be summed up simply as the gathering, moving, and disposing of trash, sewage, and other waste materials. Treating both solid and liquid waste is a part of waste management. It provides numerous options for recycling objects that aren't considered trash while the waste is being treated. Both homes and companies must engage in this process. There are eight main categories of waste management techniques, and each of these is further subdivided. Some of these are source reduction and reuse, recycling, composting, fermentation, landfills, incineration, and land application. By lowering pollution, effective waste management creates a better, cleaner environment. View this PPT for more information.
