UPSC NDA & NA 2016 examination has two papers: General Ability and Mathematics. The total score of General Aptitude Test is 600 marks. The total time duration given to attend the General Aptitude Test paper is 2 and a half hours. The total number of questions in this paper are 150, which is again divided into two: 50 for English Section and 100 for General Knowledge Section. The section English gives a maximum score of 200 while the section General Knowledge gives a maximum of 400 marks. For each negative marking, one by third or 33% marks are deducted from the total score. As per the guidelines published by the official website of the Indian Army, any student with an educational qualification of standard twelfth or 10+2 System or equivalent is eligible to apply for the NDA or NA Exam.
