In today’s world, we use computers for all our tasks. Paying bills, buying groceries, using social media, seeking entertainment, working from home and communicating with a friend can be done using a computer. A computer is an electronic computational device which can perform arithmetic, mathematical and logical operation with incredible speed and can store a gigantic amount of information and data. All the computers are not alike, different computers have different designs and features. Some computers have very high capacity as well as working speed; however, some are slow. Computers are developed based on the requirements. Depending upon the internal structure and subsequent features and applicability, computer system is categorized as: mainframe computer, super computer, mini computer and micro computer. Based on data handling capabilities, it can be categorised as: analog, digital and hybrid computers. A computer system mainly consists of four basic units namely; input unit, storage unit, central processing unit and output unit.
