The term biotechnology refers to the study of using biological cell, or organisms and developing new products for the better living of humanity. Production of bread and cheese falls into this field. The different types are arranged as colors of rainbow based on the development and researching fields: Red biotechnology (medical) paved way for the development of about 250 vaccines and medications namely antibiotics. Green (agriculture) is used for agricultural improvement, mainly to fight pests. White (industry) deals with industry, mainly in the development of biofuel also other techniques. Yellow focus on food production. Blue uses marine for obtaining cosmetics and also aquaculture. Grey (environmental) stands for conserving natural ecosystems. Gold stands for informatics, storage and analysis of biological information. Brown related to maintaining desert lands. Violet deals with philosophical and law related part of biotechnology.
