Main focus of training need analysis is to improve the performance of the employee. TNA helps to identify if the employee deficiency can be corrected throughout training or not. It tries to determine the consistency of employee performance. The purpose of TNA is to close up the gap between the actual and desired situations by determining discrepancies in outcomes, placing them in order of priority and selecting the most important for closure or reduction. Therefore consists in collecting, analysing and comparing concrete data. In one hand they compare actual performance and on other hand the desirable performance are compared. The TNA must be carried out before training activities are organized, since it guarantees the success of those activities. It ensures synergy among individual learning needs and the quest for effectiveness, job performance, and strategic organizational development.
