Part 1 of the series brought to you the history of this unique storytelling form that uses leather puppets. It also explained how these puppets are made and how the stage is set for the atual storytelling. This second and final part of the series explains how the story is acted out by the various artisans, starting with the initial prayer to Lorg Vighneswara, the leadup to the play as well as how various sound effects such as thunder and howling winds are created. Also covered in here are the various historical evidences that talk of this art form and the places in the two states where the artists who practice this art form have settled down and are found in good numbers.
