Wargal, a town in the Siddhipet District of Telangana is known for its Saraswati Temple. It is said that over a century ago, a devotee named Chandrasekhara Sarma had a dream in which he was blessed by the Goddess Saraswati. In the dream, the goddess had told Sarma to have a temple built atop the Wargal hill. According to Hindu custom, before commencing formal education children pray to Goddess Saraswati and take part in a ceremony called ‘Aksharabhyasam’. It is believed that if this ceremony is performed at the Saraswati temple at Wargal, the child would achieve academic excellence and great success in all academic endeavours. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో, సిద్దిపేట జిల్లాలో వర్గల్ సరస్వతిదేవి ఆలయం చాలా ప్రాచుర్యం పొందిన దైవస్థానం. చంద్రశేఖర శర్మ సిద్ధాంతి అనే భక్తుని గురువుగారికి కలలో శ్రీ విద్యా సరస్వతి దేవి దర్శనం ఇచ్చి ఈ వర్గల్ గిరి పై తనకు ఆలయని ర్మాణం చేయమని ఇక్కడ విద్యారంభం చేసుకున్న బాలబాలికలకు అఖండ విద్యా ప్రాప్తి కలుగుతుందని చెప్పిందట. అయితే, ఈ ఆలయం 100 సంవత్సరాల ముందే కట్టినది కావున, చాలా పురాతనమైనది చెప్పలేం. కానీ, చాలా మహిమ కలిగినది అని భక్తులు నమ్ముతారు. ఇక్కడ సరస్వతి దేవి తో పాటు శనేశ్వరాలయం కూడా ఉంది. ఈ క్షేత్రం గురించి, గుడి నిర్మాణము గురించి ఎన్నో విశేషాలు ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో తెలియజేయడం జరిగింది.
