Nestled in a cave atop a hill in Telangana’s Mahabubnagar District is a pilgrim centre called Manyam Konda. The place is referred to by many other names as well such as Vedavani Tirupati, Palmur Tirupati and Harihara Kshetram. In the ancient days, this place was called Munula Konda or the Hill of the Sages. Over time, it became Manyam Konda. The place has many local legends surrounding it. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో మహబూబ్ నగర్ జిల్లాలో మన్యం కొండ అనే పుణ్య క్షేత్రం ఉంది. ఈ మన్యం కొండ పుణ్య క్షేత్రాన్ని పేదవానితిరుపతి అని, పాలమూర్ తిరుపతి అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు. హరిహర క్షేత్రం అన్నా మాన్యం కొండ పుణ్యక్షేత్రమే! ప్రాచీన కాలంలో ఈ మన్యం కొండను మునల కొండ అని పిలిచేవారు. కాలక్రమేణా అది మన్యం కొండగా రూపాంతరం చెందింది. ఈ క్షేత్రానికి ఘన చరిత్ర ఉంది. మరి ఈ చరిత్రను తెలియజేయడమే ఈ ప్రదర్సన లక్ష్యం. చదివి ఆనందించగలరు.
