When one thinks of Hyderabad, one of the first words that come to the mind is the 'Nizams'. The Nizams were rulers belonging to the Asaf Jahi Dynasty and they ruled over many parts of the Deccan, with their capital at Hyderabad, from 1724 till 1948. They are known for their immense wealth and splendid contrubution to the city of Hyderabad. The last Nizam of Hyderabad was once declared the richest man alive on the planet, by the Times Magazine itself. The Osmania General Hospital, the Osman Sagar Lake, the Begumpet Airport, Chowmahalla Palace, and most other such prominent landmarks in the city of Hyderabad were built by the Nizams.
