According to the movie "Bahubali" , directed by S S Rajamouli the character of Bahubali is an archetypal hero in the film. This movie which had two parts, the reason for the huge success was people was abled to connect it to their personal life. This can be understood as the collective unconsciousness shared between the people. Common people always recognise heros as a role model, somebody who can do anything and be always right. According to Joseph Campbell's work "The Hero with a Thousand faces" Bahubali series can be analysed as a archetypal hero and the unconscious mind accepts this since they have primodel images in their minds. This accounts to the huge success of the movie even in this 21st century. The different phases the hero passes through in this movie can be analysed based on different theories of Campbell. Concept making and depiction creates the successful box office output and is important for experimental movies.
