One of the things the city of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh is famous for is its Moghalrajapuram Caves. There is evidence of human inhabitation in these caves from as far back as the 5th century. These caves are considered to be some of the oldest caves in Southern India. How did they get their name? It is said that the Mughals Emprors had come to this place and from then, this name stuck to the caves. Today, we can witness both the Buddhist as well as Hindu deities in these caves. మొఘల్రాజపురం గుహలు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని కృష్ణా జిల్లా విజయవాడ లోఉన్నాయి. ఈ గుహలలో 5వ శతాబ్దం నుండి మానవులు నివసిస్తూ ఉన్నారని ఆనవాళ్లు ఉన్నాయి. దక్షిణ భారత దేశంలోనే అతి పురాతన మైన గుహాలుగా ఈ మొఘల్రాజపురం గుహాలను పేర్కొంటారు. మొఘల్ చక్రవర్తులు సందర్శించిన కారణంగా ఈ గుహాలకు మొఘల్రాజపురం అనే పేరు స్థిరపడిపోయి ఉండవచ్చని స్థానికుల అభిప్రాయం. ఈ మొఘల్రాజపురం గుహలు రెండు విభిన్నమతాలకు సామరస్య కేంద్రంగా విరాజిల్లుతున్నది. ఈ గుహలు హిందూ మతం, బౌద్ద మతాలకు ఆనవాళ్లు గా నిలుస్తున్నాయి. ఈ గుహల గురించి మరెన్నో ఆసక్తికరమైన విశేషాలు ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో ఇవ్వడం జరిగింది. చదివి ఆనందించగలరు.
