Depending on how they are used in a sentence, almost all Old English adjectives can be strong or weak. That's right: the same word can be a strong adjective in some situations while being a weak adjective in others. Strong Adjectives can stand on their own; they don't need a demonstrative to help them. In any case, "strong" and "weak" are just labels that tell you what ending the adjective takes depending on the case (which, remember, marks the grammatical function) of the noun it is modifying.
