Olympic Games or simply Olympics, are considered to be the world’s foremost sports competition which is held every four years. These are the leading international sporting events with the participation of more than two hundred countries, with thousands of athletes from all around the globe. The ancient Olympics were held at Zeus of Greece, every four years, like the Modern Olympics. But they not only included sporting events, but also religious and cultural athletic festivals too. They had athletic sports, wrestling, horse and chariot racing and many more competitive events. One of the main rules regarding the participation of city states and kingdoms was that there should not be any kind of rivalry between the participating states until the event is finished. The winter games in Olympics were held for snow and ice sporting events which can’t be held during Summer. There are comparatively more participants for Summer games than the winter ones.
