Statistics is the branch of mathematics that collects, classifies, analyzes, and draws general conclusions from physical data. This knowledge is widely used in many fields such as science, technology, trade, humanities and society. The term adoption refers to the primary measure of an attribute of a group of objects or individuals. For example, the number of people in a country, the number of boys and girls in a school, the number of merchandise items in a business, the number of items made in a factory, etc. can be considered as data. Thus, the whole group of objects or subjects of study (Population / Universe) is called Statistics. In some cases, it is not possible to study directly with objects or a whole group of individuals. In such cases, a sample of them can be taken as a representative of the whole and analyzed to reach general conclusions about the merits of the whole. This branch of statistics is called Inductive Statistics. Since such conclusions cannot be said to be absolute truths, the conclusions are expressed in probability. Rather, the branch that draws conclusions as a whole is called Descriptive / Deductive Statistics.
