Sonnets are nothing but poems composed by William Shakespeare in different themes. There were about 154 sonnets, which was together published in a quarto in the year of 1609. Themes discussed in these poems were mainly love, mortality, beauty, infidelity and jealousy. Out of the 154 sonnets, almost 126 were addressed to a young man and remaining 28 addressed to a woman, that is a mysterious 'dark lady'. Common factor identified in all of this poems are firstly they have fourteen lines each. These fourteen lines are classified into four subgroups. First three subgroups have four lines of poems each, that is quatrains. Conclusion comes with two line subgroup and two lines would rhyme each other. Also, they are written in a iambic pentameter, that is ten syllables per line. Even though, all sonnets are of high quality, some of them entered into the culture and also is daily quoted by people in all levels.
