Nyapati Subbarao Panthulu was an eminent lawyer, freedom fighter, social reformer, writer, journalist and politician. He graduated in law in 1879. At the age of 22, when he was still a student, he, along with some friends, co-founded The Hind, a national English daily newspaper, with the noble aim of contributing to the national movement. Subbarao Panthulu was the first person to garland Swami Vivekananda when he returned to Chennai from his famous tour of the USA. Subbarao Panthulu presided over the Second Andhra Mahasabha held at Vijayawada on 11 April 1914. It was on his behest that on 1 January 1918 Subbarao a special Regional Congress Council for Andhra Pradesh was established. న్యాపతి సుబ్బారావు పంతులు గారు న్యాయవాది, స్వాతంత్య్ర సమరయోధుడు, సంస్కరణవాది, సాహిత్యవేత్త, పాత్రికేయుడు మరియు రాజకీయ నాయకుడు. న్యాయవాద పట్టాను 1879 వ సంవత్సరం లో పొందారు. న్యాపతి సుబ్బారావు గారు న్యాయవిద్యార్థిగా ఉండగానే 22 ఏళ్ళ ప్రాయంలో ఆయన మిత్ర బృందంతో కలసి, జాతీయోద్యమానికి సహకరించే ఉదాత్త లక్ష్యంతో, జాతీయ ఆంగ్ల దినపత్రిక అయినా ‘ది హింద్’ స్థాపించారు. స్వామి వివేకానంద గారు మద్రాస్ రేవు లో దిగ గానే పూలమాలవేసి ఆహ్వానించిన ప్రథమ వ్యక్తి సుబ్బారావు పంతులు గారే. విజయవాడలో 1914 ఏప్రిల్‌ 11వ తేదీన జరిగిన రెండవ ఆంధ్ర మహాసభకు ఆయన అధ్యక్షత వహిస్తూ, 1918 జనవరి 1వ తేదీన సుబ్బారావు పంతులు డిమాండ్‌ మేరకు ఆంధ్రప్రాంతానికి ప్రత్యేక ప్రాంతీయ కాంగ్రెస్‌ కౌన్సిల్‌ను అధిష్టానం ఏర్పాటు చేసింది. ఇలాంటివి మరెన్నో విషయాలు ఆయన గురించి ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో ఇవ్వడం జరిగింది.
