The best way to put some motivation into the employees of an organization is by using positive reinforcement. This helps in identifying what they are doing right and ignore what they are doing wrong. The theory can be explained in another way, like a manager can reward or punish, to increasing the business productivity. But positive is the better way to adapt. For example, an employee who comes early to work gets appreciated for his punctuality. This drives him to come early daily and work on a regular basis and this can increase productivity. Negative approach can be explained with the same example for an employee who gets late and being scolded by the manager. This employee can feel embarrassed, he works for the sake of manager and one day he might feel like leaving the job. This affects the productivity.
