Recruitment is a key function of human resource management. This is the first step of the appointment. Recruitment refers to the whole process of attracting, selecting and appointing suitable candidates for work within the organization. A recruitment process is an organization specific model of candidate sourcing for the purpose of finding and hiring new worker. Recruitment also is the process of attracting as many candidates to apply for work within the organization. Recruitment involves activities to enable qualified applicants to apply for vacant posts in any organization of their choosing. An organization can fill vacancies with their own employees or by hiring outside the organization. Reliable sources for fill vacancies are comprised of current and future employees ‘ friends and or family members. Employees can familiarize prospective applicants with a job advantage with the company, provide a letter of introduction, and encourage them to apply.
