In simple terms, Quantum Physics is the Physics that explains how everything works. Quantum computing is the study of how to use phenomena in quantum Physics to create new ways of computing. It is a type of computation that harnesses the collective properties of quantum states, such as superposition, interference and entanglement to perform calculations. In other words, it is an area of computing focused on developing computer technology based on the principles of quantum theory. The devices that perform quantum computations are known as quantum computers. Quantum computers are machines that use the properties of quantum physics to store data and perform computations. Quantum computing is made up of qubits. A qubit can be either of those or a superposition of both 0 and 1. Quantum computing theory is at the intersection of math, physics and computer science. Experiments can also involve electrical engineering. The presentation will further in-depth knowledge on the topic.
