"Surah Qaf is the fiftieth Surah in the Holy Book of Quran. The title is derived from the first verse of the Surah which also is an Arabic alphabet ""Qaf"". It comprises of a total of 45 verses (ayah) which are divided into 3 Rukus or Sections. This Surah made its revealation in Mecca during the earlier times of Prophet Muhammad's preachings which would be around four to five years before which he announced his prophethood. The elementary subject of the Surah is once again, monotheism and the Oneness of God. It addresses other subjects such as resurrection, life after death and the events of the Last Day. It states how each and every deed ever done by humankind is watched and recorded and therefore kept before the individual on the day of Judgement.
