Organizational behaviour (OB) is the "study of human behaviour in organizational settings, the interface between human behaviour and the organization, and the organization itself". It describes the behavioural dynamics that occur between groups and individuals in an organizational setting. Broadly speaking, OB covers three main levels of analysis: Micro (individuals), Meso (groups) and Macro (The organization) For businesses, organizational behaviour is used to streamline efficiency, improve productivity, and spark innovation to give firms a competitive edge. The four elements of organizational behaviour are people, structure, technology, and the external environment. By understanding how these elements interact with one another, improvements can be made. The presentation gives better understanding on the topic.
