C is a programming language which supports a large number of operators. An operator is a symbol used to perform mathematical and logical calculations. The different types of operators are arithmetic, relational, logical, unary, conditional, bitwise, assignment etc. Arithmetic operators used in mathematical operations works with an integer with operators like '+' for addition, '*' for multiplication and so on. Control statements are mainly three types: decision control, iteration and transfer. Decision control is used to change or stop the execution of a statement depending on the test condition. If else, switch or go to statement are types of decision control statements. Switch is used in multi way decision making to select one from the several alternatives.
