The twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad boast of housing several old and magnificent churches built during the British times. Since this place was an important cantonment area for the Britishers, they had built a large number of churches for its soldiers and their families. Did you know that in one such a church in Bollaram, the British Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 36th wedding anniversary? This presentation brings to you a list of some of these churches along with a brief description of their history. Included here are the likes of St. John’s Church built in 1813 and St. George’s Church built in 1835.
