India is an agricultural country. Major part of the population depends on farming and agriculture for livelihood. Threshers, winnowing machine and harvesters are few equipment used today. Technology is making agriculture efficient. Crop breeding and animal breeding are the modern components of agriculture. Modern techniques include Genetic manipulation, Intensive Tillage, Monoculture and new irrigation technologies. Food security is one of the biggest challenges we face today. If our mere existence is questioned how can we enjoy the physical facilities? To survive we need food. The farmers in this country feed us.
