Morphology of Fungi

Fungi can be single celled or very complex multicellular organisms. They are found in just about any habitat but most live on the land, mainly in soil or on plant material rather than in sea or fresh water. In general, microscopic morphological feature of fungi are stable and exhibit minimal variation. The definite identification is based on characteristics, shape, methods of production and arrangement of spores. Fungi can be divided into two basic morphological forms, yeasts and hyphae. The presentation will give better understanding on the topic.
