The aim of marketing is to reduce the need for selling! An organization’s objective is met only if the products or services produced reach its potential customer effortlessly. The primary action to attain this is none other than marketing. Marketing refers to activities a company undertakes to promote the buying and selling of a product or service. It includes advertising, selling, and delivering products to consumers or other businesses. There are 5 marketing concepts that organizations adopt and execute. These are production concept, product concept, selling concept, marketing concept, and societal marketing concept. Marketing is supposed to look after three aspects: Capture the attention of the potential customer, educate the prospective customer and convert the potential customer to real customer of the product or services. The seven Ps of marketing includes product, price, promotion, people, process and physical evidence. The presentation gives in-depth knowledge on the concept of marketing.
