We live in a world of information overload. Data is the bloodstream of any business entity. Managing information securely and appropriately is a great challange we face today. MIS serves as the backbone of an organisations operations. The purpose of MIS is to provide up to date, accurate data on a variety of organisational assets. The goal of an MIS is to correlate multiple data points to improvise operations. It proves to be an impetus for business growth It is used to guide tactic managers to make semi structured decisions. MIS helps the organisation in three levels. It aids in record keeping. It helps decision making. And again, it facilitates communication within and outside the organisation.
