Christian devotional song in Malayalam : Malakhamarude….., Each major religion has its own tradition with devotional hymns and songs. These songs are played and performed frequently in their places of worships, temples/churches/mosques, events, weddings and other religious gatherings. Many of Kerala’s leading singers, composers and lyricists such as K J Yesudas, Jayachandran, G Devarajan, Kaithapram, Vayalar etc have come together several times to create melodious devotional songs in Malayalam for all religious communities. .
