In a brain-friendly classroom, different learning styles are supported, active participation is encouraged, multimedia is used, environmental elements such as noise and lighting are considered, connections to the outside world are made, and community outreach and involvement are encouraged. Teachers must be aware of neuroscientific research and pass on relevant findings to education stakeholders to establish a brain-friendly classroom. This presentation offers some useful insights and approaches for creating brain-friendly classrooms.
